PARENT CONFERENCE WEEK ENROLLMENT REQUEST: November 17-21


Please enroll my student(s)  for the early sessions (noon) of Magic Apple during the week of November 17-21, 2014. We are requesting the following days: 


Note: Tuition is $15 per day student regularly attends; additional days (if available) may be requested by emailing the school directly ($45 per day).  Please circle your request:

• Conference week procedures: Please remember that Magic will be doing many special events during the week of November 17-21 as our students are out at noon. Please be sure to sign up in advance, as we will not be picking up students at noon who are not pre-registered. There will be no additional charge for families preferring to bring their students at 2:00 directly to Magic Apple; however please let us know in advance so we may plan accordingly.
  
• Please remember to send all field trip money in a labeled ziplock or envelope (do NOT make checks to Magic Apple—this is not money for us but rather trip admission fees). If you are sending extra money for spending please indicate that on the outside of your envelope/bag as well. Please be sure to check the times of the activities and/or field trips so that you may plan accordingly, we will also be meeting families at Deer Park during that week as usual.
  

Monday 11/17 Beach Day Rio Beach & Pet Rock Day (weather permitting 1-3 approx.)—optional beach toys okay.     We’ll divide into cooperative learning teams to build and explode volcanoes, than search the beach for rocks to turn into pets when we return to Magic Apple. Afterwards enjoy dance with Zach.

Tuesday 11/18 Food Day: Veggie for Soup     It’s a celebration of food as we create Stone Soup and homemade bread. We’ll also learn about the proper way to write directions as we divide into teams to teach visiting aliens (yes, you heard right) how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Afterwards, dance with Ari.

Wednesday 11/19 Sports Day Bowling at Surf Bowl $5 (1-3 approx.—extra lunch or treat $$ okay)     It’s team bowling (high score gets a medal) and then we’ll return for dancing with Ari.

Thursday 11/20 Science Day     Fran will dazzle with experiments using liquid nitrogen and dry ice! The pool will smoke, fountain of fog created and hot dogs and roses will change their composition before your eyes. Note: Small plastic toys may be brought to be “blown up” J Afterwards dance with Jason or Jan.

Friday 11/21 Pizza and Dance Day: $5 for pizza & Drink    Students will enjoy a pizza luncheon with drinks and Jan’s infamous cookies and then dance classes with Corinne & Lisa.
