You are welcome to email us at either magicappleschool@yahoo.com or magicappleafterschool@gmail.com Thank you! Speed stacking is another rage at Magic--we have timers--an instructional video and multiple sets for seeing how you stack up against your friends. Currently two students are nearing the world speed stacking record by stacking in the eight minute range!
Our lifelab staff are really working hard, so please consider buying a home grown geranium ($2-$4) for mothers day because they would like to buy more plants. Currently our garden has tomatoes, green beans, spaghetti squash, ornamental kale, peppers, zinnia, snapdragons, strawberries, and herbs--YUM.
What a wonderful surprise to have Magic Apple alumni visit Magic Apple yesterday. Josh, who has served in the Air Force as part of their search and rescue team will be deployed to Afghanistan next week. We meditated for Josh's safety in the garden and the kids loved hearing how Josh still has all his Magic Apple Medals and letters students wrote to him upon his graduation from Magic Apple. Sometimes our alumni grow a bit bigger than the teachers--it was so special to see Josh again (he looks exactly the same as when he attended Magic just taller); all the students were enthralled and we promised to exchange letters.
Hello Magic Apple Family! We wanted to wish everyone a happy Cinco de Mayo! Our student body president and vice presidents have planned an event today; we are anticipating a fun-filled fiesta. Thanks to you, many of our students will be wearing red, white, and green, which should further contribute to a festive day. On another note, we are hoping that you are now becoming familiar with our website. We hope that this site can provide a more efficient way for you to get up-to-date information about what's happening at Magic Apple, while simultaneously saving trees! Please let us know if you have any problems with the site. Love, Jan & Fran |
